Hi, I'm Melanie
I’m a wife and mom with a deep love for real stories, powerful emotions and that feeling of being truly in the moment. Home is wherever my family is – and at the same time, I’m constantly drawn out into the world, inspired by new cultures, places and perspectives.
A defining chapter of my life was living in the United States from 2013-2014. A time filled with growth, wanderlust and transformation that still shapes who I am today. Since early 2026, I´ve been fortunate to continue that journey as a military spouse, now living and working in Virginia, USA – deeply connected to a community that values resilience, service and family.
Since starting my heart-led business as a wedding photographer, I´ve had the honor of documenting around 150 weddings. Every single one unique, emotional and deeply authentic. Through regular workshops and continuing education, I continue to evolve creatively- growing with every story I get to tell. I work with intention, structure and heart, always focusing on the moments in between. No distance is too far for a meaningful story- whether in North Rhine-Westphalia, across Germany or anywhere in the world. I´ve photographed weddings and love stories in the USA, the Netherlands, France and England and I truly thrive on this kind of borderless storytelling.
When I´m not capturing memories, you’ll likely find me with an iced matcha latte in hand – at concerts, musicals or simply soaking up life with my favorite people.
